
TK-2nd Grade Friday Enrichment **REGISTRATION IS LIVE! LAST DATE TO REGISTER: SEPT 14th**
The PTO and parent volunteers run Creekside Friday Enrichment program. The day consists of pool time, the rock wall, and a variety of fun and engaging classes. We hire talented teachers in their field to teach classes for our children. Friday is a day to learn something new and connect with friends.
This program is successful due to the help of our amazing parent volunteers. WE NEED YOU! It’s a great way to meet your kid’s peers and other parents, and it’s fun too! There are so many ways you can help.
Here are a few:
Swim time and locker room help
Teacher helper
Walk groups from class to class and to the bathrooms
Recess fun maker
Do you have a skill or passion you would like to share and teach?
Substitute teacher
Classes: TK and K will have swim, art, dance, music and rockwall
1st will have swim, art, music, rockwall and Lego robotics
2nd grade will have swim, dance, rockwall and music (they will be learning to play the recorder)
We have some amazing teachers such as Jennie Charles from Dead Winter Carpenters teaching music and very talented dance educator Jennie Pitts Knipe. We also have Heather Maloy from Bricks for Brains teaching Lego Robotics.
Location: We meet each Friday at the Truckee Donner Recreation Center. We feel lucky that they let us use this state of the art facility to house our Friday Enrichment.
Dates: September 16, 23, 30 October 7,14, 21, 28 November 4,18 December 2
Time: 10am-2pm
Cost: $350 for the Fall 2022 semester
